Newegg – the leading tech-focused e-retailer in North America –hosted its 11th annual Eggie Awards gala at the XS Nightclub at Encore Resort on Jan. 8. The gala’s theme, “Take Flight With Newegg,” paid homage to 37 partner companies that contributed to Newegg’s success in 2014. The Eggie Awards acknowledge top-performing vendors in all aspects of Newegg’s business: Logistics, Finance, Real Estate, Products and Customers.
“2014 was an immensely successful year for Newegg, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of our most valued partners,” said Soren Mills, Chief Marketing Officer of Newegg North America. “Our executive committee and project management teams are deeply committed to strengthening these key vendor relationships, and we are enthusiastic about our continued collaboration in 2015.”
In addition to the 37 companies recognized at the Eggie Awards gala, one of Newegg’s most loyal customers was named Newegg’s “Geek of the Year.” Newegg reserves this coveted award for special customers who not only shop Newegg on a regular basis, but also make valuable contributions to the Newegg community. This year’s recipient – Cory Hall – has been a vocal member of the Newegg community since 2006, and last year he penned Newegg’s three-millionth review.
