"Over the last decade we've all seen how innovation and design are linked--and how the right design can change a company's destiny," said Josh Tyrangiel, editor of Bloomberg Businessweek. "The exceptional group of designers joining us in San Francisco are leading their companies and clients to new territory and reimagining how we experience the world. It'll be great fun to hear them present, argue, collaborate, and challenge one another, while sharing their secrets for doing great and impactful work."

400 attendees will be on hand at the Yerba Buena Center for the conference's four sessions, networking periods - during which they can enjoy one-on-one interactions with the Businessweek team and the stellar roster of presenters - and closing cocktail party. Autodesk will also co-host a welcome event on Sunday evening, March 9, at the Autodesk Gallery.

Last year's Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2013, the first conference launched by the magazine since its acquisition by Bloomberg LP in 2009, attracted 26 designers and a sell-out crowd of over 250 attendees.

Led by creative director Richard Turley, Bloomberg Businessweek has been internationally recognized for its innovative design and surprising covers, winning the 2012 Society of Publication Designers Magazine of the Year award and being named the 2013 design studio of the year by Creative Review. The magazine, and the work of Turley and his team, have also won numerous other distinctions from ASME (American Society of Magazine Editors), D&AD (Design and Art Direction), Type Directors Club, Art Directors Club, and Society of News Design, among others, and have been featured in exhibitions including the 2012 "Designs of the Year" show at the Design Museum, London, and 2011-2012's "Graphic Design: Now in Production" at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.

Coverage of select sessions from Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2014 will be available across various Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg platforms, including Bloomberg TV, Businessweek.com, Facebook, Twitter (@BW, #BBWDesign), and the Bloomberg Businessweek+ app. The March 24, 2014, issue of Bloomberg Businessweek will be a special double Design Issue devoted to ideas and discoveries generated at the conference. The issue will be available in print, online, and on tablet and mobile devices.

AT&T is an event partner of Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2014, and Autodesk will showcase select installations from their interactive gallery.
