The NGFA recently announced the formation of the Next Generation Agribusiness Leaders (NextGen) Program. The mission of the NextGen program is to provide early career and mid-career professionals with the knowledge and networking opportunities needed to become future leaders in the agribusiness industry. NextGen activities will focus on three core areas: networking, mentorship and education.

The program kicks off at 2:30 p.m. CT Jan. 27 with a free professional development webinar, "Communication Secrets of Top Leaders." Participants will learn how efficient and effective communication can help advance their careers. To participate, register online.

Greg Duerksen (left), president of Kincannon & Reed, will be the guest presenter. He is a Harvard MBA graduate with broad experience in agribusiness. Among other achievements, Duerksen led two turnarounds in Latin American companies in the beverage and crop input sectors.

Any early- to mid-career professional with a NGFA member company may participate in NextGen activities.
