U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) office is conducting its annual Uniform Grain and Rice Storage Agreement (UGRSA) contract rate renewal process.

A UGRSA is required to store commodities owned by the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) or pledged as security to CCC for marketing assistance loans. The UGRSA letter sent to grain warehouses in December allows warehouse operators to correct their Grain Warehouse Data Report and to request changes to their storage and handling rates. Corrections are to be made on the Grain Warehouse Data Report and requested changes to storage and handling rates are to be submitted on a new CCC 25-2 form. The deadline for the corrections and/or changes is Jan. 16.
