Employment Situation Analysis, December 2012

The pace that the economy added jobs slowed down in December, adding just 277,000 jobs, due to a high base effect from a year ago. However, December was a good month for jobs when compared with years before the financial crisis. Recently, job growth has been slowing down quickly, and the employment situation requires close monitoring.
