Ministry of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs of : Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep receives the Delegation of Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Employment...

On January 16th, 2017, at the Head office, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep had a cordial meeting with the Delegation of the Ministry of Employment and Labour (MOEL) led by Mr. Park Jong kil - Deputy Minister of MOEL of ROK. Attending the meeting, MOLISA's Delegation were Leadership representatives from the Department of International Cooperation, Department of Employment, Directorate of Vocational Training, 3 pedagogical technology Universities under the Ministry; MOEL's Delegation were Leadership representatives from the Department of Development Cooperation, KOREATECH University, representatives from ROK's Embassy to Vietnam and related units.

Sharing with the Delegation, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep highly appreciated the cooperation on employment between the 2 countries and the support of ROK's Experts for MOLISA recently. For the Project on technical support the Work-net funded by ROK's Government, the Deputy Minister emphasized that open announced information on employment by Internet would help connecting both businesses and labourers most quickly. Work- Net would be the effective bridge link between employers and employment in the future. Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep hoped that Work - Net Vietnam with the meaningful information on employment for Vietnamese youth and recruiting agencies. On the other hand, the Deputy Minister also informed to Mr. Park Jong kil some projects cooperation between Vietnam and ROK on vocational training, capacity building for Vocational teachers…

At the meeting, thanked for the warm welcome of Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep, Deputy Minister Park Jong kil highly appreciated the cooperation programs between the two sides. Accordingly, the Cooperation Programs bring not only the material benefit but also the aim at development boosting of the two sides. He appreciated Vietnam's potential, the cultural and traditional similarities of the two countries. He also appreciated the project on Work-Net and stressed that besides human resource development, it was necessary to carry out the specific activities to use these high quality labor force. Moreover, he also discussed on the program of dispatching Vietnamese labourers to work in ROK in accordance with EPS program. He highly appreciated the effort of Vietnam with the event of MOU signing ceremony between the two sides in 2016.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep thanked the MOEL's Delegation for the good emotion for MOLISA. On the occasion of New year 2017, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep wished the best wishes to the Delegation and hoped that the cooperation between the two sides increasingly better.

In the framework of the meeting, the two sides implemented the signing ceremony on cooperation agreement on vocational teacher training in 2017 between ROK's MOEL and Vietnam's MOLISA.
