Today, 27 January, State Secretary George Ciamba had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Romania, Osman Koray Ertaş.
On this occasion, the two officials appreciated the very good level of the bilateral relation, developed on multiple scales, based on the Strategic Partnership between Romania and Republic of Turkey. They also pointed out the importance of further preserving the trilateral dialogue Romania-Turkey-Poland.
The regional and international progress was approached as well, also in the light of the current challenges such as the migration phenomenon and the fight against terrorism.
The State Secretary underlined the interest of the Romanian side to strengthen the sectoral cooperation, particularly in the economic and security field, and the support for maintaining Turkey as a stable partner at the EU and NATO level.
