Jakarta, 01/04/2016 MoF - Beginning 1 January 2016, tax payments are already using online system through e-billing. Enforcement of the e-billing system is a form of service upgrades by Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) for Taxpayer (WP), to provide the ease, convenience, and security in paying taxes.

To use this system, WP must register at http://sse.pajak.go.id by entering tax number and email address. Furthermore, WP will get a billing code, which can be used to make payments at Bank Teller /Perception Post, regular ATM, MiniATM, or internet banking. Successful transaction will be followed by Receipt which is equal with the Tax Payment Slip.

To accommodate the transition of tax payment from a manual system to an online system, several state-owned banks such as Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and Bank Tabungan Negara as well as PT Pos Indonesia, will continue to serve the payment of taxes manually only until June 30, 2016.
