By VICTORIA, BC and MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Jan 30, 2014) - UNIT4 Business Software, the North American subsidiary of UNIT4, the global leader in software that supports business change, today announced a $2.3M agreement with the City of Medicine Hat to provide UNIT4 Agresso Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. The agreement includes delivery of a fully-integrated solution including financial management and budgeting, HR and payroll, procurement, project costing and billing, field asset management and comprehensive reporting.
Medicine Hat is a dynamic, full service Alberta city that strives to be "a community of choice" for its over 61,000 residents. In an effort to improve decision making and optimally allocate resources, the city elected to replace its existing Oracle/JD Edwards solution to gain access to more timely information. Following a comprehensive review, Medicine Hat chose UNIT4 Agresso over other Tier I ERP providers because of Agresso's demonstrated success in the Canadian marketplace and its ability to respond to business change quickly and inexpensively.
