MEGA International will conclude its two-part webinar series on winning the battle over IT complexity through IT portfolio management and IT risk management on Thursday, January 21 at 1 pm EST.

The first webinar, held in December, can be viewed on the MEGA web site.

At this month’s event, attendees will learn how to:

  • generate a detailed map of IT assets and the links between business processes and IT resources
  • evaluate IT assets on business value, cost, risk and performance
  • identify risks that could arise from various transformation scenarios

“Efficient management of IT resources can really boost a company’s ability to get to market faster and respond to market changes sooner,” explained Kevin Costa, webinar speaker and business transformation expert at MEGA. “However, too many companies undertake this effort without also identifying and managing the risks associated with IT resources and IT portfolio transformation.”

Costa will review the ways that MEGA’s integrated solutions have helped companies achieve successful IT portfolio management and IT risk management.

MEGA’s HOPEX IT Portfolio Management helps companies evaluate the business value, cost, risk and performance of each IT asset and create a roadmap that shows how to add and retire technologies at the right time. It is integrated with BDNA Technopedia™, providing detailed information on the software technology of manufacturers worldwide.

MEGA’s HOPEX IT Risk Management helps organizations understand the business impact of IT risks so they can fully support corporate objectives. It provides an automated means to pinpoint and manage threats to IT assets.

The company has long been recognized for its innovation in business solutions by industry analysts. Gartner, Inc. has named MEGA as a leader in its EA Magic Quadrant reports for seven consecutive years. In 2015, MEGA was recognized by GRC 20/20 with the GRC Technology Innovator Award.
