WeSpire, the positive business technology company, experienced a landmark year in terms of customer acquisition, client success, product advancement and more. Through its award-winning technology platform, WeSpire helps connect employees with their company’s sustainability, wellbeing, volunteerism and other positive business programs, ensuring that employees find purpose, fulfillment and engagement in the workplace.

Leading research from reputable organizations, including Gallup and Aon Hewwit, have proven that companies with high percentages of engaged employees experience higher retention, profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee safety levels. The overwhelming evidence around the value of employee engagement, has resulted in a growing interest for an employee engagement solution, and a $74.3 billion industry has developed out of it.

WeSpire’s positive business approach to employee engagement has resonated with many of the world’s most innovative companies. Among the companies that signed on to license WeSpire in 2016 are a Fortune Global 15 high-tech electronics manufacturing company, a publically-traded multinational food and beverage company and one of the world’s leading technology companies which creates business and financial management solutions.

Among WeSpire’s current client roster are 12 U.S. Fortune 800 companies and eight Fortune Global 500 companies. Together, WeSpire’s clients employ more than 1.3 million people around the world. In 2016, WeSpire’s users took and recorded nearly two million positive actions on the WeSpire platform, saving:

  • Nearly 355 tons of waste
  • More than 6,000 Mwh of energy
  • More than 6,000 tons of emissions
  • Nearly a quarter million gallons of fuel
  • More than 118 thousand gallons of water

A YEAR OF INNOVATION
In 2016, WeSpire announced its most exciting product update to-date: WeSpire Campaigns. This new utility allows companies to easily create and customize every aspect of their positive impact campaigns. With WeSpire Campaigns, companies can develop positive business programs on their WeSpire platform that are specific and localized to their company and if desired, share them back with the WeSpire network of clients through the behavioral programs library.

“By giving our clients the power to design and customize their own positive impact campaigns on the WeSpire platform, we are increasing their ability to take our battle tested, best in class behavioral programs and align them with their own branding, language and industry or location specific knowledge, says Susan Hunt Stevens, CEO and founder of WeSpire. “This is a win-win for our clients and we’re excited to see how they harness these new capabilities and share their ideas back into our community of customers.”

WeSpire also unveiled its Events tool to customers in 2016. Companies use Events to coordinate positive business events such as volunteer days, employee seminars and workshops, and food and clothing drives. With the tool, employees can register for events and event managers are able to promote the event, communicate with registrants and even manage shifts and paperwork. To-date WeSpire customers have logged more than 45,000 volunteer hours with the Events tool.

The hard work that the WeSpire team has put in to making a leading employee engagement technology platform was recognized and awarded multiple times this year. In March WeSpire’s Behavior Project Library was awarded an Edison Award in the category of Workplace Resources. In April, WeSpire won the award for Best Employee Efficiency Technology at the 2016 MITX Awards. In November, Susan Hunt Stevens won a Stevie Award in the category of Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Business Products.
