Latvia issued 750 million euros ($805.1 million) in new bonds maturing in January 2028 via a bank syndicate on Tuesday, one of the lead manager banks said.

The orderbooks were in excess of EUR3.7 billion, excluding demand from the joint lead managers, it said.

The spread on the bond was set 75 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said. The bond has a 3.500% coupon, and it was priced at 99.133 at a yield of 3.693%, the bank said.

Joint bookrunners of the transaction are Citi, Deutsche Bank, Erste Group and Nomura.
