Kratos Receives $5.8 Million Contract Award in Support of MALD Program

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 31, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its subsidiary Composite Engineering, Inc. (CEI) has been awarded a $5.8 million contract for the production of Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD)-J fuselages. The recent award was for the Lot 5 production contract with deliveries starting in March of 2013. To date, CEI has provided multiple deliveries of MALD fuselages to Raytheon Missile Systems, the prime contractor for the MALD program. In addition to producing the MALD fuselage, CEI provides target drones made from composite materials that are designed to replicate some of the most lethal threats facing this nation's Warfighters and strategic assets.
