Knicks Encourage Fans to "Vote Knicks" for 2012 NBA All-Star Game

Knicks Launch Interactive All-Star Voting Campaign Featuring Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and Amar'e Stoudemire

New York, NY (January 9, 2012) - The New York Knickerbockers have introduced a new All-Star campaign featuring players Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and Amar'e Stoudemire, and including the return of the interactive fan voting site - . Throughout the All-Star voting period the Knicks will release a variety of exclusive new content on the site, including a new Knicks song and an original video mash-up produced by famed music video producer and remixer, DJ Steve Porter. is designed to make the campaign hands-on and allow fans to not only vote for their favorite Knick, but also encourage fellow fans to get involved in the action by submitting videos and participating in exciting contests to win a variety of Knicks prizes. Last season Knicks fans rallied behind Stoudemire to make him the first Knick voted as an All-Star starter since 1997.

will also offer fans the opportunity to get involved with the campaign by uploading personalized videos with their campaign pitches to encourage other fans to vote Anthony, Chandler and Stoudemire to All-Star 2012. Step-by-step instructions, along with a list of questions to answer in the video submissions, can be found on the site along with some of the top prizes for the best video submissions. Deadline for the fan video submissions is Jan. 15 with winners being featured in a new DJ Steve Porter mash-up video that will be unveiled online, in-arena and on MSG Network the week of Jan. 16.
