January 2018 - In the insolvency proceedings over the assets of Air Berlin plc, the local court of Berlin-Charlottenburg has convened a creditors' meeting on 25. January 2018 at 10:00am at the Convention Hall II, Estrel Congress Center, Sonnenallee 225, 12057 Berlin. At the meeting, trustee Prof. Dr. Lucas Flöther will report on the status of the insolvency proceedings and creditors will vote on the agenda items, in particular on the possible request to repeal debtor-in-possession proceedings, potential election of a different trustee/insolvency administrator and continuation of the creditors' committee and its members. KEOS GbR ("KEOS") in its capacity as joint representative of all bondholders of the EUR 225m, 2011/2018, 8.250% bond issued by Air Berlin plc (the "Bond" / ISIN: DE000AB100B4 / WKN: AB100B) will participate in the creditors' meeting and exercise their voting right during the vote on the aforementioned agenda items, bondholders of this Bond are only entitled to attend, but not to vote in this creditors' meeting. In order to participate in the creditors' meeting, the bondholders are requested to bring an identification document as well as a suitable proof of their bondholder status (proof of their depository bank) to the creditors' meeting. The bondholders are further requested to submit their questions in advance to KEOS, who will collect these and communicate them at the creditors' meeting on behalf of the bondholders. KEOS will report to the bondholders following the creditors' meeting. KEOS will register claims for repayment of principal and payment of interest accrued until the opening of the insolvency proceedings of all bondholders of the Bond. Individual bondholders of the Bond represented by KEOS (ISIN: DE000AB100B4 / WKN: AB100B) do not have to do anything in this regard and therefore no further action is required from their side. The creditors of other Air Berlin plc bonds are not represented by KEOS and must register themselves for participation in the creditors' meeting and exercise their rights themselves or through their lawyers.
