RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Jan. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The FiberMax(®) One Ton Club(TM) honors the best of the best cotton growers, and signups are now open for this prestigious recognition. Qualifiers who attend the annual event in Lubbock, Texas, can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a two-year lease on a Ford F-350 Super Duty King Ranch truck.

Now in its 12(th) year, the One Ton Club is for growers who average 2,000 lb/A on 20 or more acres planted to FiberMax cotton seed. As of the 2015 harvest, 848 growers have qualified for the elite club.

"We applaud the hard work and dedication it takes to achieve these types of yields," says Jason Wistehuff, FiberMax product manager. "The One Ton Club gives us another way to connect with our growers and celebrate great yields along with them."

Each year, One Ton Club growers are breaking records. In April 2016, the highest yield in the history of the club was recorded at 3,717 pounds per acre. "Friendly competition and a shared appreciation for excellent cotton make this club something to look forward to each year," Wistehuff says.

If you're a grower in any of the 17 cotton-producing states who meets the 2,000-pound yield requirement, learn how to sign up for the One Ton Club by visiting with your sales rep or Bayer Agronomic Services Team member.

Qualifiers will be recognized at the annual event in Lubbock, Texas, in April 2017, where the drawing for the truck lease will take place. Growers must be present to enter and win the sweepstakes. Learn more at www.FiberMax.com/OneTonClub.
