Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, today announced the promotion of Tony Carosello to VP, real estate. Carosello, previously director, real estate operations for Jo-Ann, will report to Jim Kerr, EVP, CFO.

"Since joining Jo-Ann in 2000, Tony has made significant contributions to the real estate and finance departments, helping both groups deliver on our company's strategic initiatives," said Jim Kerr, EVP, CFO for Jo-Ann Stores. "As director, real estate operations, Tony has been integral in the revitalization and growth of the Jo-Ann store base over the last few years, and he is well-positioned to lead the real estate team into the future."

Carosello is a graduate of John Carroll University where he studied finance; he then earned his MBA at Cleveland State University. He is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers. He and his wife, Michele, have three children.
