Cleveland Clinic Florida is pleased to announce that Jamal A. Ghani has joined the organization's leadership team as Chief Executive Administrative Officer. In his new role, Mr. Ghani will have accountability for overall operations of Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Mr. Ghani brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience with large integrated health systems in California, Arizona and New York, as well as community and tertiary medical centers in Michigan. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Florida, Mr. Ghani was President, Hospital Operations for Metro Health Hospital and Executive Vice President for Metro Health Corporation in Wyoming, Michigan. He has also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan, and Chief Executive Officer and President for Hurley Health Services, as well as Chief Administrative Officer for Forrest Hills Hospital, part of North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in New York. In addition to being a seasoned hospital administrator, Mr. Ghani also brings entrepreneurial experience and was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of two technology, venture funded companies.

Mr. Ghani is a member of various local Michigan boards and community organizations and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Michigan State University's School of Public Health and Institute of International Health. He has a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
