IDEA Public Schools and San Antonio City Councilman, Alan Warrick, will kick off National School Choice Week with a proclamation on Monday, Jan. 25 at IDEA Walzem. In addition to Councilman Warrick, students, parents and community leaders will be in attendance to speak regarding the value of education options for all families.

“No two students learn the same and it’s our job as educators to ensure that students have access to education options that work for them,” said Rolando Posada, IDEA Public Schools San Antonio executive director. “We’re proud nearly 24,000 students have chosen IDEA Public Schools to prepare them for success on their journey to and through college.”

More than 16,000 School Choice Week events will be featured across the country. National School Choice Week celebrates effective education options for every child including traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, online learning, private schools, and homeschooling.
