Gregory FCA announces a new initiative designed to promote diversity within the communications and public relations industry here in the Delaware Valley. The Gregory FCA Diversity Initiative will award two $2,500 scholarships to college senior students majoring in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related fields of study. The students will also receive a paid 90-day internship, gaining exposure to the industry and the firm’s strong reputation for developing public relations professionals.

“Our goal is to provide a pathway for students to gain a first step up the public relations career ladder,” says Joe Anthony, partner, Gregory FCA. “We believe deeply in our industry and feel it can benefit dramatically from a workforce and worldview focused on diversity and inclusion. Our Junior Associate program traditionally takes on as many as 10 college seniors each year, with the potential to go on to join the firm as full-time professionals. We recognize the positive business impact created by diversity and inclusion in various marketing sectors and want to double down on our recruitment efforts through this Diversity Initiative and assure that we are finding the best possible talent.”

Kwan Morrow, vice president of Digital Relations at Gregory FCA, adds, “Public relations is a quickly growing field that offers incredible opportunities for candidates with strong communications, writing, digital and research skills. We’re committed to creating a more diverse industry by focusing on and supporting the diversity of ideas and perspectives in how we serve clients in a changing economy and culture.”

The Gregory FCA Diversity Initiative scholarship and internship program is open to college seniors who have proven a passion and commitment to public relations, communications, marketing and/or journalism. Interested candidates can apply at https://gregoryfca.com/diversity-scholarship/.
