The San Francisco Women's March on Saturday, January 20 is expected to bring many North Bay residents to the city, and Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry are ready to get them there.

GOLDEN GATE FERRY

Golden Gate Ferry will supplement its weekend services with added trips from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Added trips will 'load and go,' meaning that boats will leave as soon as they are full and ready to depart. Boarding will be on a first-come, first-served basis. See timetables for Larkspur Ferry & Sausalito Ferry below.

To avoid long lines on event day, customers are strongly encouraged to PURCHASE ROUND TRIP FERRY TICKETS IN ADVANCE from ticket machines located at our Larkspur, San Francisco, and Sausalito terminals. Customers may also use a Clipper card to take advantage of a discounted fare. Clipper cards are available online at clippercard.com, and may also be purchased from these same ticket machines or our Customer Service Center located at Platform D at the San Rafael Transit Center (hours: weekdays from 7AM to 6PM).

Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry will operate a normal weekend schedule on Saturday, Jan. 20. Golden Gate Tiburon Ferry does not operate on weekends-Blue & Gold Fleet provides weekend service from Tiburon to/from Pier 41.

Larkspur Ferry Fares & Tickets:

  • Adult (19-64): $11.50
  • Youth (5-18)/Senior (65+)/Disabled: $5.75
  • Clipper: $7.50
  • Children 4 and under travel FREE when accompanied by a full fare paying adult (limit 2/per adult)
  • PURCHASE TICKETS EARLY! Vessels will depart promptly.
  • Round trip ticket purchase is recommended if you will be riding in both directions.
  • Ferry tickets are available from ticket vending machines located at the Larkspur and San Francisco Ferry Terminals. Ticket machines are open during daily hours of operation.
  • Customers without Clipper cards who need to purchase ferry tickets should arrive AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

Sausalito Ferry Fares & Tickets:

  • Adult (19-64): $12.00
  • Youth (5-18)/Senior (65+)/Disabled: $6.00
  • Clipper: $6.50
  • Children 4 and under travel FREE when accompanied by a full fare paying adult (limit 2/per adult)
  • PURCHASE TICKETS EARLY! Vessels will depart promptly at posted departure times.
  • Round trip ticket purchase is recommended if you will be riding in both directions.
  • Ferry tickets are available from ticket vending machines located at the Sausalito and San Francisco Ferry Terminals. Ticket machines are open during daily hours of operation.
  • Customers without Clipper cards who need to purchase ferry tickets should arrive AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

Terminal Locations

The Larkspur Ferry Terminal is located in Marin County at 101 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., just east of U.S. Highway 101 in Larkspur, CA. Parking is free on weekends.

The Sausalito Ferry Landing is located in downtown Sausalito at Humboldt and Anchor Streets. There are for-pay public parking lots adjacent to the Ferry Landing and metered parking on local streets.

The San Francisco Ferry Terminal is located along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street behind San Francisco's Historic Ferry Building, across from the Embarcadero Center (formerly Justin Herman Plaza).

GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT

Women's March attendees can catch a Golden Gate Transit bus between Marin and Sonoma counties and San Francisco. Route 30 operates to/from San Rafael via Sausalito; Route 70 operates to/from Novato; and Route 101 operates to/from Santa Rosa. Combined, these routes operate at least 3 trips every hour, to/from the San Francisco Civic Center area, in both directions.
