NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Global X Management Company LLC (Global X), the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today announced the promotions of Alex Ashby to Senior Vice President, Head of Product Development, and Steve Munroe to Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing.
Mr. Ashby, who joined Global X as a research analyst in 2010, has been an integral part of the firm's product development infrastructure. In his new capacity as Head of Product Development, Mr. Ashby will continue to drive the firm's efforts to provide unique and intelligent investment solutions for investors across the globe. He will report to Luis Berruga, CEO of Global X.
Mr. Munroe joined Global X from Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2015 as VP of Marketing Analytics. During his time with Global X, he has led several strategic distribution initiatives, including a re-design of the firm's website. Steve has also helped expand Global X's use of data and analytics in driving forward its now-global brand. In his new role, he will lead the firm's overall marketing efforts and continue to build upon the unique brand identity that he has helped Global X cultivate. He will also report to the CEO, Luis Berruga.
