Since December 1 ° Ghana and from 1 January Ecuador acceded to Free trade agreements with the European Union.

To benefit from the preferential tariff treatment provided for imports into the EU of products originating in Ghana and Ecuador and for imports in Ghana and Ecuador of products originating in the EU, you must submit documentation proving the preferential origin of goods :
• For shipments originating products whose total value does not exceed € 6.000, simply the invoice declaration
• For shipments originating products whose total value exceeds € 6.000, invoice declaration in the event that the company is a holder of the status of Authorized exporter (In the presence of regular exports or potential operations, it would be advisable to extend the authorization for obtaining such a benefit)
• For shipments originating products whose total value exceeds € 6.000, emission request EUR1 certificate if the company is not who has the status of an Authorized Exporter

For completeness of information we remember that the presence dell'EUR1 or the invoice declaration must be shown in the box 44 of the SAD.

It is recalled that in the case of exports, to benefit from the octroi facilities, products shipped in Ghana and Ecuador must comply with the specific rules of origin and the exporter must possess, and possibly produce at the request of the competent authority, with relevant evidence to origin, as provided in the 'economic partnership Agreement.
