German home solar demand could drive Solarwatt's 2025 sales to 1 billion eur

FRANKFURT/DUESSELDORF (Reuters) - Germany's Solarwatt says dramatic surges in demand for home generation systems of solar power could help it raise 2023 revenue by 52% over last year to arrive at 500 million euros ($538.35 million) or more, and one billion euros in 2025 could be possible if the trend continues.

"Growth is strong and healthy," Chief Executive Detlef Neuhaus said in an interview, adding that profitability should be reached this year.
