NEW YORK, May 30 (Reuters) - New York Federal Reserve President John Williams said on Thursday the U.S. central bank is facing no pressure to change interest rates yet.

"We have the time and ability" to take in data before adjusting policy, Williams told reporters after a speech to the Economic Club of New York. He added that markets understand that the central bank's policy outlook changes as the data shifts. (Reporting by Michael S. Derby; Editing by Paul Simao)
