GREENVILLE, SC--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2014) - Encore Technology Group is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 48-state procurement contract (#2012314) from The Interlocal Purchasing System, commonly known as TIPS, for "Interactive Presentation Systems" from Clear Touch Interactive. The contract provides the best pricing, terms and conditions on Clear Touch's 5000 Series Panels to TIPS members -- public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties, and other government agencies -- throughout the continental United States.

The contract became effective on Jan. 24 following an extensive competitive bidding process and subsequent approval by the TIPS governing board of directors. It enables all TIPS members to conveniently and confidently procure Clear Touch's interactive presentation systems from Encore -- without the need to conduct their own due diligence. With this contract, Encore became the premier provider of Clear Touch 5000 Series Panels to TIPS members.

"The procurement process for Clear Touch's interactive panels just couldn't be any simpler for public sector organizations," said Keone Trask, chief business development officer for Encore Technology Group. "It's free for eligible education and government entities to join TIPS, and our contract ensures the best pricing available... so these organizations are now able to procure interactive presentation systems with the confidence that they're getting the best price from a highly experienced solution provider. We look forward to demonstrating the power of the Clear Touch systems and other innovative technologies to TIPS members."

Clear Touch 5000 Series Panels are available in three sizes: 65 in., 70 in. and 84 in. Each system provides brilliant colors using high-definition LED technology and achieves true interaction with a minimum of six points of touch. These systems are often integral to the interactive learning solutions that Encore deploys and supports for its education clients, solutions that may also consist of technologies like whiteboards, touch-screen tables, student response systems, tablets and projectors -- all working together to deliver a modern "connected classroom" experience.

In the education space, Encore has earned its reputation as one of the nation's most experienced providers of solutions that advance education through student personalization, collaboration, engagement and assessment. Its team members have transformed over 40,000 K-12 classrooms into modern learning environments, and they also have vast experience deploying interactive solutions in higher education, government and enterprise environments.
