A cross-party group of nine lawmakers, led by the chairman of the foreign affairs committee David McAllister, were spending three days on a fact-finding mission meeting, among others, business people and politicians.
"We are here to show solidarity, solidarity with Ukraine and its citizens in this hour of uncertainty," McAllister said during a short media briefing at the port.
He was joined by the chairman of the defence subcommittee Nathalie Loiseau who said that combating disinformation was one of the aims of the mission.
