Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting with the EU Ambassador to Georgia Janos Herman

On January 25, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting with the EU Ambassador to Georgia Janos Herman. The parties underlined the role of the joint diplomatic efforts in a successful completion of the visa liberalisation process. Giorgi Kvirikashvili stressed that Georgia highly appreciates the support from the EU and informed Herman about his Government's future intentions and planned reforms that would move the country closer to the EU. 'We discussed a range of topics starting from political issues and ending with visa liberalisation prospects. It was very important for me to get information concerning Georgia's future steps directly from the Prime Minister,' said Herman after the meeting. The EU Ambassador congratulated Giorgi Kvirikashvili on his appointment to the post and wished him success.
