David Bowie's catalog has been sold to Warner Music
The late British rock star's catalog spans six decades
and includes hits such as 'Heroes' and 'Let's Dance'
The deal includes songs from the 26 studio albums
released during Bowie's lifetime
as well as the posthumous studio album release 'Toy'
The purchase was worth about $250 million
according to a person familiar with the matter
Warner Music is home to musicians
such as Cardi B, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars
