Crédit Agricole CIB announces the appointment of two new team members for its Global Markets Americas Financial Institutions Sales team.

David Steckl joins as Head of Rates, Short Term and Solutions Sales for North America Financial Institutions.

David will be responsible for leading three Sales teams: Rates, Short Term and the Solutions Sales team. His remit is to further develop our Financial Institutions franchise in the Rates and Solutions space.

David brings nearly 20 years’ experience within Global Markets Sales. Most recently he was at UBS where he was Head of Institutional Rates Sales, preceded by roles at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and Merrill Lynch covering FIG clients for rates, credit and solutions.

Based in New York, David will report to Kashif Zafar, Head of Sales for the Americas and Deputy Head of the Global Markets Division, Americas.

Yang Tang joins as Head of Solutions Sales for North America Financial Institutions.

Yang will lead the newly created Solutions Sales team, mainly covering Banks (ALM, Funding and XVA teams), Insurance companies and Pension Funds in North America.

Yang joins from Deutsche Bank where he led the rates structuring and solutions effort in the Americas within the Institutional Client Group focused primarily on financial institutions. His previous experience includes similar roles working with FIG clients at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.

Based in New York, Yang will report to David Steckl.

These hires demonstrate Crédit Agricole CIB’s continued investment in the United States as a key region. David and Yang will help further expand and strengthen our client franchise in the Americas.
