New product development and enhancement, continued client growth, and the achievement of important industry certifications highlighted another year of expansion and innovation for Clear Vision Information Systems, company President and CEO Tom Peterson announced today.

Clear Vision provides Medicare Advantage risk adjustment solutions and strategies to health plans and providers nationwide. In the year just concluded, Clear Vision grew its national client base by 30 percent while maintaining a 95 percent client retention rate. As a result of these two achievements, the company witnessed a 25 percent year-over-year growth rate of Medicare Advantage members served.

“Since our founding, our goal has been to provide exceptional customer service while bringing to the market solutions and strategies that allow Medicare Advantage plans and providers to enhance patient care while maximizing their revenue,” said Peterson. “Our new and enhanced products in 2014 were aimed at doing just that, and our robust growth in clients and members served was a strong validation of our efforts.”

Among the highlights in the year just concluded was Clear Vision’s entry into the Medicaid market by offering NCQA certified RevMaxPro software for tracking clinical quality measures for the Medicaid population. This National Committee for Quality Assurance certification validates that the Clear Vision product meets current quality standards, improves the accuracy of reporting measures, and produces reliable and comparable results. Combined with the Medicare certification also received in 2014, health plans, physician groups and ACOs can now turn to RevMaxPro for all of their Medicare and Medicaid patients, including the growing number of dual eligibles. Utilizing a single tool for all of these patients leads to greater efficiencies and consistency in reporting.

In addition to receiving these certifications, in 2014 Clear Vision added numerous enhancements to RevMaxPro, one of the industry’s most powerful and easy-to-use data-intelligence tools that help physicians and health plans identify patients with chronic conditions, pinpoint gaps in treatment, and monitor the reporting of clinical data to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The new enhancements added in 2014 included a suite of new reports to support quality reporting and new forms for providers.

Last year also witnessed the launch of MDMax, a full-service, outsourced solution designed to improve the quality of care for Medicare Advantage members by proactively identifying gaps in their care and facilitating an office visit with their physicians. MDMax combines member outreach, provider engagement, data collection and coding to make sure members get the care they need; and the health plans and doctors do a better job of keeping their members and patients healthy.

In addition to product development, Clear Vision continued its thought leadership role in the industry as evidenced by:

  • Continuing to be a major voice at select industry conferences including Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Pam Klugman along with Director of Compliance and Analytics Karen Bach addressing the healthcare’s Industry Collaboration Effort (ICE) national conference.
  • Featuring Peterson in a Healthcare Web Summit Media and Payers and Providers webinar exploring the challenges connected to sharing patient data among physicians, hospitals and insurers as a path to improving patient care.
  • Being featured in a host of top-tier industry publications including Physicians Practice, Medical Practice Insider, Healthcare Business Today, Advance for Health Information Professionals, Family Doctor, CAPG Health and many others.
  • Being honored for excellence by Healthcare Marketing Report for an infographic it created highlighting the state of chronic disease of older Americans (and how healthcare providers can more effectively care for these conditions) and issuing a second infographic on the best ways to track hospital services for Medicare members.

Leveraging decades of experience at the forefront of Medicare policy, Clear Vision’s portfolio of products and services – including risk adjustment analytics and easy-to-implement continuity-of-care strategies – help clients maximize their revenue while improving quality of care.
