With homeschooling on the rise across the country, Classical Conversations will host a celebration and informational meeting highlighting home schooling in the Christian classical tradition.

The celebration and meeting will be 1:30 to 3:30 Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at Samuels Public Library and will feature Barby Hobcroft, Front Royal Challenge I Director and Area Representative for Classical Conversations, and a panel of high school students.

The event is one of more than 21,000 independently planned events for National School Choice Week 2017, the largest-ever celebration of educational opportunity.

Those interested in learning more about Christian Classical Homeschool Education, from preschool through high school, are especially invited. About 70 people are expected to attend.

Warren and Shenandoah counties are home to more than 900 home school students.

“Many home school parents recognize the value of a classical education, but may struggle to know how to provide one for their own children,” Hobcroft said. “This event will provide them with the tools they need to have their children learning from the greats of yesteryear within the framework of a solid Christian Biblical worldview.”

Those who register for the event ahead of time will receive a free e-book. Participants can register at https://www.classicalconversations.com/event/register/rsvp/54739.
