BEIJING, July 13 (Reuters) - China imported 10.27 million metric tons of soybeans in June, up 24.5% from a year ago, customs data showed on Thursday, as large purchases of cheap Brazilian beans reached the market.

Imports in the first half of the year by the world's top soybean buyer came to 52.58 million tons, up 13.6% in the year-ago period, the data also showed.
