Chemoxy was awarded the Gold status by the North East Better Health at Work Awards for 2018. This is Chemoxy's third year applying the BHAW award, achieving Bronze and Silver in the first and second years.
The Chemoxy team worked very hard to achieve the Gold award using the slogan of 'Go for Gold! in 2018' as an aim. Part of the 2018 BHAW plan included; French Lessons, Time to Talk, Melanoma ME, Shining Example Cycling and regular emails with health tips and ideas.
The team plan to continue offering practical support and demonstrating our commitment to the philosophy and will aim for the award of 'Continuing Excellence' for 2019.
Chemoxy believe a healthy workspace has considerable benefits for not just the employee, but for their family and the company. At Chemoxy it is important that we give our co-workers the right tools for the job to enable them to make healthy choices and informed decisions. We focus on healthy messages and activities that are evidence-based, sustainable and can make a big difference to improving our employees physical and mental health.
