The Bank of Russia informs that the payment of insurance indemnity to Vneshprombank LLC depositors including individual entrepreneurs will be effected by the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (hereinafter, the Agency) on the grounds envisaged by Clause 2 of Part 1 of Article 8 'On Insurance of Household Deposits with Russian Banks' - introduction of a moratorium by the Bank of Russia to satisfy claims of the bank's creditors.
In accordance with the law, the payment of insurance indemnity in relation to Vneshprombank LLC obligations in foreign currency shall be calculated in rubles at the Bank of Russia exchange rate as of the date the moratorium was set - 22 December 2015.
Information on the agent banks authorised by the Agency to effect the payment of insurance indemnity is posted on the Agency's official website (www.asv.org.ru).
