''They've made real, significant changes, they've looked into their situation and they've made dramatic changes and we need them because this is about us all coming together and celebrating movies and movies need light shone upon them and do you know what? We've been denied the right to sit in theaters and watch movies in theaters, so us all coming together is sending a signal out that it's ok to come together for movies. That's a good thing."

Michelle Yeoh was the only other attendee to address the issue directly with Reuters.

"I think it is important because this is an international Golden Globes, right, and it encompasses everybody and that's why we constantly talk is inclusivity, so how can you not include them? But I think what has happened is, they needed to clear it all up and wake up to a brighter and beautiful day and move forward and I think we all have to move ahead, move forwards together,'' she said.
