Caliburn International, LLC, a leading provider of professional services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, today announced that C.D. Moore II has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Moore will oversee day-to-day operations and client engagement activities to drive success across the company’s client delivery teams.

Mr. Moore joins Caliburn from Dayton Aerospace. He served in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) for nearly 35 years until his retirement in 2014, reaching the rank of Lieutenant General. As the first Commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, he built a new organization responsible for “cradle-to-grave” management of all USAF aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic/cyber systems. An accomplished operational and experimental test pilot, he also served as Vice Commander of the Air Force Materiel Command, in the Pentagon as Director of Special Programs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and was deployed to Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Moore was a Guggenheim Fellow, earning an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Columbia University. He also earned an M.S. in National Resource Strategy from The Industrial College of the Armed Forces (National Defense University).
