Besides opposing the Affordable Care Act and not having a viable option to replace it if it were repealed, Dr. Price voted against healthier school meals, against increased food safety measures, and even voted against calorie labeling requirements for restaurant foods. And his answers before the Senate HELP Committee today about his stock trading practices do not inspire confidence.

The Secretary of Health and Human Services has enormous influence over Americans' health. Yet as a member of Congress, Dr. Price has shown himself to be anti-science, anti-regulation, and anti-health. The Senate should reject Dr. Price, and the House Ethics Committee should launch an investigation into whether he violated the STOCK Act or other laws or ethics regulations with his trading.
