Latest seasonally adjusted data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (at constant prices) show that, in comparison with October, industrial production volume in November did not change. In manufacturing there was a rise of 2.1%, while in mining and quarrying as well as in electricity and gas supply - a decrease of 1.2% and 4%, respectively.

In comparison with October, rise in manufacturing production was recorded in sectors having the highest share: wood processing (3.4%), manufacture of food products (of 2.1%), and metalworking (of 16.5%).
Compared to November 2012, industrial production output in November 2013 grew by 0.4%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices; of which by 2.6% in manufacturing, while in mining and quarrying as well as in electricity and gas supply there was a drop of 0.3% and 6.2%, respectively.
The most notable increase in manufacturing was recorded in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers - of 33.6%, and manufacture of electrical equipment - of 14.4%. Significant growth was observed also in manufacturing sectors having the largest share: wood processing (of 6.6%), manufacture of food products (of 10.3%), and metalworking (of 12.3%).
