Not only does the plan provide direction, but also serves as a great team building exercise, generates new ideas, and keeps staff motivated and engaged. The plan is broken into four sections; Business Retention & Expansion, Recruitment & Entrepreneurship, Community Leadership, Tourism & Area Promotion, and also a section focused on growing the functionality and expertise of the office staff.
Under each section are a list of Objectives & Strategies to complete those objectives. The 2018 Work Plan included objectives focused on Healthcare, Dining Options, the Bowman Gateway Industrial Park, the Fusion Conference, Empowering Leaders, Business Development & Outreach, Quality of Life objectives and more. The Bowman County Development Corporation will discuss the Work Plan in their upcoming Annual Meeting on February 21st.
