Park Madison Partners, a New York-based real estate placement and advisory firm, today announced that it has named Amy Thiessen as Principal. Ms. Thiessen will focus on broadening the firm’s global distribution and will be based in the firm’s New York headquarters.
Ms. Thiessen joins Park Madison Partners from Forbes Private Capital Group in New York, where she held the title of Managing Director with responsibility for capital raising and institutional sales in the U.S. as part of Forbes’ global private equity fund placement platform. She began her career in real estate investment banking as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in London and later held positions in capital raising and investor relations at DTZ and AEW Europe.

Ms. Thiessen received a Master of Philosophy in Modern European History from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in English from Columbia University. Prior to her real estate career she was a professional opera singer.
