Ameriflight, LLC announced today that William J. Collins III has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Collins brings over 25 years of executive management experience to the Ameriflight board with a strong background in engineering, operations and program management. Previously he has held executive positions at General Electric Aviation Systems, Moog, Inc., Bell Technologies, Inc. and other aviation industry companies including most recently, American Airlines where he was Corporate Vice President, Technical Operations – Aircraft and Engines. In addition to his responsibilities on the Ameriflight board, Mr. Collins sits on the board of Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Jim Martell, owner of Ameriflight, stated, “We are very pleased to have Bill join the Ameriflight board. We feel he will be very helpful in the strategic future growth of the company.”
