Allegro Development Corporation, a leading provider of commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software, announced today the appointment of Rod Fomby as Senior Vice President of Global Services. Fomby comes to Allegro from EnFORM Technology/SunGard Consulting Services, where he was Managing Partner in charge of the North American Financial Services practice overseeing consulting and system integration projects for multiple clients. EnFORM was a leader in ETRM consulting services prior to its acquisition by SunGard.

Bringing more than 20 years of professional services and consulting experience to the Allegro executive team, Fomby will lead the firm's global consulting and project management efforts with an eye toward expanding profits and ensuring high quality service delivery.

"It's an exciting time to be a part of the Allegro organization," Fomby said. "The firm's acquisition by Vector Capital and Cerium Technology last year provided a significant investment during a time when commodity markets worldwide are transforming. From politics and regulatory reforms, to emerging markets and new technology, the commodities business is changing, and Allegro is committed to leading the way."

Prior to his position at EnFORM/SunGard, Fomby also served as a Senior Manager for KPMG LLP Consulting/BearingPoint and was an IT Solutions Group Leader for Southwest Airlines. He began his career in 1991 working in the Energy Practice at Ernst & Young.

"Rod is a seasoned veteran who brings a big picture outlook to our present mission," said Jason Liu, Allegro Chief Executive Officer. "His skill set definitely deepens our bench and lends credible value to our client teams operating worldwide. He is a great addition to our organization."

Fomby holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, with a BBA from Texas Tech University.
