In September, take-offs and landings at 121 Canadian airports without air traffic control towers totalled 57,828 movements.

That month, 10 airports accounted for 41% of the activity: Peterborough, Ontario (6,845 movements), Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador (3,039), Tillsonburg, Ontario (1,892), Trois-Rivières, Quebec (1,878), Red Lake, Ontario (1,754), Sherbrooke, Quebec (1,734), Barrie-Orillia-Lake Simcoe Regional, Ontario (1,729), Comox, British Columbia (1,671), Collingwood, Ontario (1,600), and Pickle Lake, Ontario (1,471).
