Advanced Circuits, Inc., the third largest circuit board fabricator in North America, announced the new appointment of Dan Chouinard as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at the start of the 2014 year. As Vice President, Chouinard succeeds Larry McQuinn, who recently announced his retirement after 16 years with Advanced Circuits.

As Advanced Circuits' previous Vice President of Operations, Dan Chouinard joined Advanced Circuits in 2002, and has had a proven track record of success at AC. His previous printed circuit board industry experience helped him efficiently handle all of the company's operations. With a team of over 150 employees, Chouinard constantly implemented and refined processes that allowed the company to quickly and consistently produce higher quality circuit boards.

Chouinard's strong leadership has helped Advanced Circuits implement numerous reliability initiatives resulting in improved equipment uptime and quicker recoveries. In addition, he always found ways to enhance the consistency and redundancy of Advanced Circuits' manufacturing processes.

Prior to his arrival at Advanced Circuits, Chouinard supplied the company with circuit board materials from Technica USA. In this sales manager role, Chouinard demonstrated an impressive customer-focused attitude that earned him "Salesperson of the Year" and secured him a place at Advanced Circuits.

Chouinard has also held management level and technical positions within AT&T, MacDermid, Zycon, and Maine Electronics. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Mississippi State.
