According to data from the Romanian Institute of Statistics, the trade exchange between Italy and Romania in January-October 2015 reached a total value of 11,4 billion euro, an increase of '8,2% compared to the same period of 'last year.
In particular, Romania exported to Italy goods worth EUR 5,72 billion euro (+ 9,5% over the first ten months of 2014), while imports from Italy reached a value of 5,69 billion euro ( + 6,9% compared to the same period of 2014). The trade balance of Romania concerning trade with Italy has recorded a positive trade balance of 28,5 million euro.
In the period from January to October 2015 Italy it was ranked in second place after Germany is in the list of countries
suppliers both in the target markets Romanian exports, with a share of the total interchange of Romania
equal all'11,6% (12,5% of total exports and 10,9% of total imports).
