FL Technics Jets, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services for business aviation, has recently completed its longest ever maintenance check. The 2,000 man-hour long C-Check was performed on a Russian business jet operator's Hawker 800 XP.

As soon as the Hawker 800XP reached the FL Technics Jets hangar in the autumn of 2012, the company's engineers commenced the C-Check works, the second most serious maintenance service after a complete overhaul of an aircraft. FL Technics Jets specialists removed and fully reinstalled the aircraft's overhauled landing gear and carried out comprehensive heavy maintenance works on both engines. Moreover, they conducted E/C/G inspections, OOP inspections and structural inspections as well as defect and corrosion rectification. The overall technical service of the Hawker 800XP aircraft required over 2000 man-hours thus marking the longest FL Technics Jets maintenance event. Following the C-Check, the aircraft was relocated to painting facilities in Belarus, where the customer's Hawker 800XP will receive a brand new livery under full supervision of FL Technics Jets specialists.

'We are delighted that more and more Russian business jet operators and owners are choosing us as their aircraft maintenance provider. The latest 2000-hours C-Check is yet another achievement of our engineers, and we are looking forward to further development of our capabilities in order to meet even the most specific needs of business jet operators and owners,' commented Darius Saluga, the CEO of FL Technics Jets.

Certified as an EASA Part-145 organization, FL Technics Jets holds maintenance approvals from the Federal Air Transportation Agency of the Russian Federation as well as Civil Aviation Authorities of Aruba, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. In the beginning of 2012 FL Technics Jets became the first Authorized Hawker Beechcraft service centre in Eastern Europe.
