Classy, the world’s first operating system for social impact organizations, is excited to announce the next release of its popular Classy for Salesforce application, available immediately on the Salesforce AppExchange. This version, v5, eliminates the need for manual data entry, provides more insight into supporters’ data profiles, and allows for custom contact matching through the dual power of Classy and Salesforce technology.

“Classy for Salesforce eliminates the need for hours upon hours of manual data entry, saving our customers valuable time and enabling them to run their organizations more efficiently,” said Mike Young, Classy’s Chief Technology Officer. “With Classy for Salesforce v5, social impact organizations will now have greater control over how the two systems communicate and map to each other, providing a cleaner and more holistic data profile for each supporter in their community.”

The Classy for Salesforce app enables Classy customers to seamlessly connect to their Salesforce account and leverage both the power of Salesforce’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform and Classy’s fundraising and operating system. Organizations can now define exactly which fields are used to match new donors from Classy with their existing contacts in Salesforce. By adding this custom contact matching feature, Classy is responding to the top-requested feature by current Classy users.

"At Team Rubicon, our ability to respond to those in need without delay is mission critical. It's within the first 48 hours of a disaster that our work has the greatest impact. We're thrilled about the enhancements to Classy's integration with Salesforce in the upcoming release because it'll help us to connect with donors early in our response. We've seen how this helps us raise more money and ultimately save more lives," said Matt Scott, Senior Development Officer, Team Rubicon.

“Classy represents the very best technology available today to support our world’s most progressive nonprofits and social enterprises. We work closely with our customers - organizations like Team Rubicon and Pencils of Promise - to understand current and future needs and how to best automate and alleviate friction in their fundraising operations. This is the first of many exciting technology releases Classy will make this year to propel our customers into a new era of fundraising and impact,” said Scot Chisholm, Classy CEO.

With Classy for Salesforce v5, social impact organizations can:

  • Designate specific criteria to search, prevent duplication and create new contacts in their Classy-Salesforce instance.
  • Streamline internal communication, increase transparency, and surface meaningful data to drive collaboration and decision making.
  • Create connections between online and offline fundraising strategies, giving a more accurate picture of donors and their behaviors.
  • Improve customer support and enhance the constituent experience through centralized data and reporting.

Classy for Salesforce v5 is available now on the Salesforce AppExchange or at Classy.org.
