’47 Brand, a privately held, premium sports lifestyle brand, is teaming up with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and Major League Soccer (MLS) to create branded headwear, apparel and accessories. The new partnerships hail from the growing popularity of soccer and strong consumer demand for premium product offerings that support soccer fans’ love and fanaticism for their favorite teams. They complement ’47 Brand’s already diverse roster of premium sports licensed apparel, headwear and accessories including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and more than 900 colleges across the U.S.

Details surrounding the partnerships include:

U.S. Soccer: As part of its license agreement with U.S. Soccer, ’47 Brand will offer U.S. Soccer branded adult headwear and apparel, non-soccer socks and gloves through multiple channels in the U.S. and abroad, including boutique apparel stores, department stores, athletic footwear stores, specialty apparel stores, military stores, kiosks, sports specialty stores, sports stadium retailers, and more.

Major League Soccer (MLS): In partnership with MLS, ’47 Brand will provide league-branded apparel for both adults and kids, including headwear, scarves, and gloves. Retail channels will include a variety of specialty apparel stores.

“Passion for soccer continues to permeate worldwide, and we’re excited to get in the game and parlay the success we’ve had making premium sports apparel, headwear and accessories across other sports franchises into the world of soccer,” said ’47 Brand’s co-owner Steven D’Angelo. “Our commitment to melding sport with fashion drives our goal of introducing on-trend product offerings, and we see huge potential in working with both soccer properties to appeal to more consumers as we position their licenses on a different level.”

As part of the brand’s aggressive international growth strategy for 2015, ‘47 Brand has identified soccer as a significant opportunity to expand their licensed products across one of today’s most popular sports. The brand plans to leverage growing passion for the sport, by launching the multi-platform partnership in time for the excitement of the upcoming 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada, taking place in June and July.

’47 Brand designs, creates and retails premium sports lifestyle apparel and headwear made from only the highest-quality fabrics sourced from around the world, providing consumers with the best fit, feel and fashion available today. In-house expert design and creative teams meld sports with fashion by traveling the world to stay ahead of trends and source fabrics, textures, colors and design, bringing to market the absolute best in sports lifestyle apparel and headwear for discerning consumers.
