Desmadryl is Global Head of ESG Research & PRI at HSBC Global Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd.
He joined the HSBC group in 1999 and was Global Head of ESG Research and PRI since June 2010.
He moved from Paris to Hong Kong in early November 2010.
Prior to HSBC, he held various banking and asset management positions within companies like Ecureuil Gestion, part of the CDC (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) Group, Credit Agricole, Income International and Bank Paribas.
He is active in many ESG/SRI initiatives like the UNEP FI (United Nations Environmental Program Finance Initiative) where he served as Co-Chairman of the Asset Management Working Group.
He has also contributed to the initial experts’ panel in charge of defining the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment).
Mr. Desmadryl holds a Master's degree in Finance from French Business School ESLSCA.
He is also a Certified European Financial Analyst (European Federation of Financial Analysts) since 2005.
